I have some very exciting news about the publication of THE SINNING HOUR, the first release in my new Victorian UNMASKED series. Originally, I had slotted THE SINNING HOUR to be an introductory novella to the series. However, in a move I hope that you'll agree is far better, I will instead be releasing THE SINNING HOUR as the first full-length novel in the UNMASKED series! While I liked the novella concept, I realized that I really wanted to write two of the parts I love most about romance novels--how the hero and heroine meet and how they fall in love. Writing THE SINNING HOUR as a full novel instead of a novella makes this possible, and it also allows for greater characterization (which, I admit, is another aspect of writing romances that I really love).

Even better, I can now tell you that the book will be released in mid- to late- June, although I still do not have a specific date. (I promise, I'll let you know as soon as I know!)

Until that time, though, I'm happy to announce that I will begin a countdown to the release of my first debut as Elise Rome next week, with more exciting things to come each week afterward.

The launch of my very own Elise Rome store on my website, where you will be able to pre-order future e-books and print books (including signed/inscribed versions), buy THE SINNING HOUR when it releases (both ebook and print versions will be published, although the print will come out a few weeks later), and take advantage of special sales/discounts available only in my store. (For those of you worried about how you'll be able to transfer digital books bought here to your e-reader, don't worry--I'll have instructions.)

Note: I'll also be distributing my books through regular distribution channels such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc. Creating my own store, however, allows me more freedom for sales and other benefits to readers, as well as increased profit and more timely income because the sales are direct.
